CoFonts.com is committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). The fonts listed on this Site are created and owned by their respective designers and foundries, each distributed under that designer’s own license terms (shown on each font’s page). If you believe content on this Site infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice as described below.
Our policy is to promptly review and, where warranted, remove any content or font we’re notified about that infringes on the copyright of any party.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
To file a notice, email info@cofonts.com with the following:
- A direct URL for each font you’re reporting. General categories, search results, or pages without a direct font link will not be considered — if your request involves five fonts, include five separate URLs, one per font.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf. You (or your representative) must be able to demonstrate proof of ownership — we act only once it’s clear you’re the rightful copyright holder.
Incomplete notices — including ones without direct URLs — may not be actioned. We aim to review and respond to valid notices promptly.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to info@cofonts.com including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and its location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, an appropriate jurisdiction), and that you’ll accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
Repeat Infringers
We reserve the right to remove content, and where applicable restrict access, for cases associated with repeated, valid infringement claims.
A Note on Tone
We keep this process simple and respectful, and we’d appreciate the same from you — the more specific and complete your request, the faster we can resolve it.
